Co-Founder & Chairman - PSM Group

Carly was born into the world of motor racing. Her father was a motor bike racer and formula one engineer. 


Carly read law in Manchester and Oxford and obtained a Master's degree in Sports Law. 


Carly has worked for some of the UK’s top law firms including the prestigious Winckworth Sherwood and Hill Dickinson. She has represented many high-profile stars as a lawyer and also served as Chief Executive of a large regional law firm.

Carly specialised in sports and property law and is well versed in international property law, having been guest speaker at various international events and for media publications.  

She has worked across a variety of sports including Formula One and football. She counts football club owners, national team football managers and football legends amongst her client base. 

Carly has also worked in the music industry and enjoyed working for well known music artists looking after their interests, contracts and events. 
At Phoenix Sport & Media Group, Carly heads our group operations as Chief Executive Officer. She sits on all our company boards as a director on behalf of our investors to ensure each company executes well. She leads operations and strategy upon behalf of the group and is project leader for some of our key clients. 

Carly is married to former Premier League footballer Craig Short.

Carly has also worked in the music industry and enjoyed working for well known music artists looking after their interests, contracts and events.
